What is the Excellence Exchange?

The Lancaster Chamber’s Excellence Exchange is a professional development and networking opportunity for leaders -- a place for local and regional business professionals to hear noteworthy business practices and participate in small group discussions, facilitating conversation among attendees on how to implement the lessons learned from the speaker(s) within their workplaces.

What to Expect:

We're excited to host Michael Reynolds, President & General Manager of the Lancaster Barnstormers, to reflect on his journey with the team and Clipper Magazine Stadium at our final Excellence Exchange of the year. The Lancaster Barnstormers are celebrating their third Atlantic League Championship and Mike will be sharing about how they are building for success - creating a "winning" team on and off the field. In addition to culture-building, this session will highlight key decisions that led Clipper Magazine Stadium to be recognized as an award-winning stadium - and a critical space for the community.

Meet the speaker:

Mike Reynolds, Lancaster Barnstormers

Michael Reynolds joined the Lancaster Barnstormers in 2016 and serves as the President and General Manager of Clipper Magazine Stadium and the Lancaster Barnstormers. Prior to his leadership in Lancaster, he notably served as Team President for the Reno Bighorns of the NBA G-League, and Director of Sales for Madison Square Garden and the Houston Comets of the WNBA. His 20 years of experience has led him to becoming “Atlantic League Executive” of the year in 2019 and the stadium’s success as the best MLB partner league stadium for three consecutive years. The Lancaster Barnstormers just wrapped of their 2022 season with successes both on and off the field, most notably winning their third Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Championship. While ticket sales and sponsorships are what keep the business component alive, Michael is most passionate about memories being made at the stadium and community inclusivity. Michael serves as Chair of the Board for the Northern Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, and member of the board of multiple organizations including LEADS, Hands on House, Conestoga Valley Youth Field Hockey and Conestoga Valley Youth Softball. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys coaching his kids’ baseball, softball, and basketball teams. He and his wife, Nicole, have an active and happy home filled with four young children Macey, Rylee, Michael Jr and Kennedy and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Beau, and German Shephard, Koda.
