Northwest Consortium  

  The Lancaster Chamber will be hosting the first set of Regional Consortiums for 2023 with our community partner – the Lancaster County Planning Department (LCPD). They will be sharing updates and seeking business insights on implementation of the Lancaster County comprehensive plan, places2040.

Places2040 focuses on 5 big ideas: Creating Great Places; Connecting People, Place, & Opportunity; Taking Care of What We Have; Growing Responsibly; and Thinking Beyond Boundaries. It is important that Lancaster County businesses, professionals and leaders know the status of plan implementation, and projects that impact the county and local regions. How do your business decision(s) align with the county’s future?

Each Consortium program will provide an overview of the LCPD and updates on the implementation of places2040. The LCPD team will also provide specific planning updates for the region – land use & transportation, infrastructure, housing, commercial and industrial projects, and more.
