School’s out, but we’re in session! Join us to hear school district updates from your superintendents and get connected with school-to-work programming happening in our county.
The Lancaster Chamber will be hosting its next set of Regional Consortium with guests from each school district who will give updates about school-to-work opportunities, career exploration programs, apprenticeships/internships, and teacher workforce education. This is a unique opportunity for the business community to plug into education and learn what each school district is doing to support the next generation’s leaders. Participants will also have the chance to ask questions and engage in conversation with the superintendents, so come prepared to share your business’ workforce needs and ideas!

K-12 education is the foundation of a student's academic career and provides the basic knowledge and skills necessary for success in college and/or the workplace. In Lancaster County, there are 17 school districts tasked with educating and preparing young people for productive adult lives. A strong relationship between schools and businesses ensures that students are learning skills that will prepare them for in-demand jobs.
