What is Women in Business?

Women in Business is designed to equip professional women with the knowledge, strategies, and resources needed to navigate challenges and achieve success in the workplace as well as to provide opportunities to connect with businesswomen across Lancaster County.

About this session:

While most leaders experience challenges in their professional growth and development, women leaders face unique hurdles as they strive to create a personal brand that is authentic, along with a presence that is both powerful and a true reflection of what they value in themselves.  This session will provide some insights to help women activate their agency and lean into their power to stand out and make an impact.

Meet the Speaker:

Kathryn Sandoe, D.Ed. 

Dr. Kathryn (Katie) Sandoe is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and educator. For over 20 years, she has been a local trailblazer in the communications, public relations, and education disciplines. Katie is also a writer, speaker, and facilitates workshops on purpose discovery, social impact, media mastery, personal leadership, and adult learning. 

Katie runs a coaching and consulting business that helps purpose-driven leaders achieve greater success and make a positive impact. She proudly serves as Executive Director for Girls on the Run of Lancaster & Lebanon, which helps girls know and activate their limitless potential. Katie also periodically teaches at Penn State Harrisburg in the communications program.
