We’ve all heard that a journey of one thousand miles begins with a single step. True transformation requires you to learn new things and commit to sustained behavior change. Are you looking to start a CI journey or is your momentum stalled? Fortunately, there are a variety of readily available standard practices to support systemic change in any department in any business. Continuous Improvement is, in the end, about building a culture that empowers team members to become actively engaged problem solvers who are equipped to make sound decisions that benefit your customers.
In this session, we’ll review some of the more widely used methodologies and identify when to use them, discuss effective problem-solving techniques, and put theory into action. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to adopt a mindset of continuous improvement and become your organization’s CI Champion.

Meet the speaker!
Scott Reighard, Business Advisor, MANTEC
Scott Reighard is a seasoned executive with more than 36 years of success across the commercial, packaging, and pharma printing industry. He has extensive tactical experience guiding organizations in both production and supporting operations, data analytics, and strategic planning. He has implemented lean manufacturing initiatives, six sigma techniques, and ISO certification to achieve operational excellence. As both an acquirer and having been acquired he understands the operational and cultural challenges of a successful acquisition or tuck-in to achieve the desired outcomes.
As an integrator, his broad areas of expertise include workflow and manufacturing operations, logistics and fulfillment, equipment selection and engineering, continuous improvement, change management, and ERP implementation. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at companies including Acorn Press, The Standard Group, and Eagle Graphics.
Scott holds a BSBA from Shippensburg University and completed an Executive Development Program through PIA at Northwestern University in addition to both presenting and attending various conferences and industry trade shows. Scott was a long-term member of Vistage and continues participation in other executive development opportunities. Scott resides in Lancaster with his wife Mindy and is the proud parent of two successful daughters.
