On July 22, 1872 at the Cooper Hotel in Downtown Lancaster – a group of businesspeople met and created what we know of today as the Lancaster Chamber. Advocating for street paving, public education, development, water supply and more, this group knew that together, they could create more impact on Lancaster County. Since that meeting in 1872, the Lancaster Chamber has been an embodiment of that central mission – advocating, representing, resourcing, and working together with our businesses to make Lancaster County a thriving community for all. As we continue to celebrate our 150th Anniversary
