What is the Lancaster Chamber's Roundtable Program?

The HR Roundtable fosters meaningful peer-to-peer connection and discussion in an invigorating and confidential environment. The HR Roundtable is designed to encourage participants to exchange insight, offer feedback, and express challenges they’re facing in their position or organization while cultivating a valuable network.

Here's What to Expect!

The program will provide clarification on DEI and provide practical tips for HR professionals incorporating DEI into the daily life of businesses and organizations. DEI is proven to increase employee retention and growth. The program will provide an overview of various terms and a series of practical applications. Attendees will be given keys to looking at their workplace to evaluate investment in and understanding of DEI. Attendees will receive simple steps that are designed to increase awareness and can be implemented in any organization.

We are partnering with LSHRM (Lancaster Society for Human Resource Management) to offer credits. SHRM credits are approved and HRCI credits are pending.

You'll walk away with:

  • A definition of DEI;
  • An understanding of organizational benefits; and
  • Practical steps to increase inclusivity in the workplace.

Meet the Speaker!

Jinada Rochelle

Jinada Rochelle LLC is a company focused on providing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training to businesses and community organizations. Through tailored training sessions, I help companies understand DE&I, leverage its benefits, and implement DE&I into their strategic plan. A sample list of trainings includes, Implicit Bias, Microaggressions, Disability Awareness, Sexual Harassment and Cultural Humility. By using a DE&I perspective, I analyze company policies including but not limited to hiring, retention, employee management and succession planning. Businesses are provided with an action plan that assists in positioning them for continued success.

Prior to forming Jinada Rochelle LLC, I worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the Human Relations Commission. The Commission is charged with investigating unlawful claims of discrimination, conducting community outreach, engaging with business stakeholders, and assisting the citizens of Pennsylvania. During my tenure at the Commission, I served in various capacities. My final position was Director of Enforcement.  My duties consisted of training internal and external customers on the agency’s policies as well as providing updates on the theories of discrimination and their application to businesses and communities and assisting with the strategic planning for the agency. The training topics included basic anti-discrimination, anti-harassment with a focus on sexual harassment, team building, and navigating a diverse workplace.

In addition to working at the Commission, I worked for over 10 years in the private industry. I assisted businesses with their hiring practices, marketing strategies and employee management policies. My prior experience has enabled me to successfully launch a consulting firm that understands the needs of businesses to both increase profitability and provide an inclusive working environment.
