Here's What to Expect!
In our final HR Roundtable session of the year, hear a variety of perspectives on maximizing benefits as a recruitment and retention tool. Learn about the obligations and regulations for employers to offer employee benefits and understand out-of-the-box benefits that employers are offering to remain competitive. We'll also discuss ways in which our current environment impacts employers' decisions to provide supplementary employee benefits.
Meet the speakers!
Bernard Cannon
Bernard works for High Companies as Recruiting Manager, overseeing their Construction, Precast Concrete and Transit recruiting portfolio. He has been in the Staffing and Recruiting field for 9 years and specializes in high volume recruitment of manufacturing, construction, and skilled trades. Bernard is a member of the Human Resources Advisory Group and Lancaster Society for Human Resource Management. Bernard is from Lancaster County and graduated from Hempfield High School and Millersville University with a Bachelor of Arts focused on Political Science.
Eric Athey
Eric is co-chair of the Labor and Employment Group. Eric has extensive experience advising clients on the design and administration of health and welfare benefit plans. He assists publicly traded companies, private companies, government entities, and non-profits in navigating the ever changing landscape of the health and welfare benefits world. In addition to working closely with clients to help them comply with the ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other federal and state laws, Eric frequently counsels clients on emerging trends, including telemedicine, consumer-directed health plans and mental health parity issues.
