Panelists will address a variety of topics related to K-12 public education funding including:
• Adequacy and equity gaps in Pennsylvania’s school funding system and local implications.
• The role of public education in effective school-to-workforce pipelines to overcome unprecedented workforce shortages.
• Pennsylvania’s overreliance on local property taxes to fund public education and its implications on real estate markets.
• Race equity concerns with K-12 education and the funding system.
The Lancaster Chamber’s Pro-Business Agenda focuses on workforce policies in three areas: meeting workforce demands, strengthening the future workforce, and expanding workforce opportunities.
