Join us at our Wake Up to the Issues forum focused on broadband infrastructure in Lancaster County and across the Commonwealth. People utilize the internet every day for many different functions – from work to education, healthcare to government programs – and it is necessary infrastructure to remain competitive.

Gaps exist in broadband infrastructure and many communities are developing strategies for how to address the gaps and expand the infrastructure. While they are contemplating those solutions, there is significant funding for investment into these strategies.

At this Wake Up, we will be joined by Brandon Carson, Executive Director of the PA Broadband Development Authority, a newly established Authority charged with administering Federal and State funds allocated for the purposes of expanding broadband services in PA and Lisa Riggs and Ezra Rothman from the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County. The EDC and the Lancaster STEM Alliance are leading an effort to create a county-wide broadband strategy and will provide insight into the analysis process.
